| Qantas donated this undercarriage unit to the Qantas Founders Museum in Longreach around the time that the Boeing 747-238B was being phased out of service as new 747-438s came online. This particular unit would have been due for service and as it could not be used on the 747-438 it was declared surplus. Qantas used to maintain a full set of overhauled undercarriage units which would be installed on aircraft as they came due for service. Therefore this unit would have been fitted to several Qantas aircraft during its service life. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
