  The fuselage and damaged wings were acquired by QAM from the South Brisbane College of TAFE (Technical and Further Education) as part of a collection of items donated to QAM when the college closed. The fuselage had been used to train aircraft engineers on skin repairs.

This aircraft was deaccessioned at a Special General Meeting of QAM held on this date. An offer to purchase the aircraft by the Australian Flying Museum Education Group was accepted at the same meeting.
