P-3C Orion A9-760 was returning from a 6 hour TACEX sortie south of
Kangaroo Island on 31 October 1985 when the new Adelaide Formula One
Grand Prix circuit was photographed. The 1985 Aust F1GP was a big deal
for Adelaide so we just took the opportunity to get some pics for Squadron
records. I think we did a quick circuit before shooting an ILS into
Adelaide. (The race, which was won by Keke Rosberg, was run on 3 November
