Beech Queen Air VH-CFD suffered two partial gear collapses at Perth Airport, the first on 2 February 1969 and the second on 15 October 1971. This photo was taken after the first incident in 1969. The tall gent on the extreme left is the CFS Chief Pilot, Max Folks. Following the second incident in 1971, VH-CFD loaned its left wing to get VH-FDV back from Lansdowne Station where it had suffered a wing fire. For the ferry flight back to Perth, the registration under the wing from VH-CFD was modified with tape by covering the C and adding a V at the end!
