Safely secured in a hangar at Griffith on 28 November 2010, Wirraway
VH-WIR shares hangar space with another former RAAF training aircraft,
a CT-4A Airtrainer. Whilst the Wirraway was developed from an American
design with the added impetus of impending war, the CT-4 was developed
thirty years later at a more leisurely pace from an Australian design
and imported from New Zealand! Such is progress. The CT-4 is another
type with which Matt is familiar - he owns one. QUEENSLAND
