in service with ANSETT-ANA when the F27 VH-FNQ was delivered in
1966 were B727-77, DC-9, Electra, Viscount, F27, DC-6B, DC-4/Carvair
and DC-3 plus a few light aircraft. All of these were long out of
service when the airline ceased operations on 14SEP01. |

the F27 was operated under lease by several operators between 1989
and 2001, it was owned by Ansett for the entire period. |

is arguably inappropriate to include the DC-3's ANA service prior
to the Ansett take-over on 21OCT57 but even if included, the F27
served longer. |
