336 Skymaster VH-CMY at Kopiago in the western highlands of PNG in 1972.
At the time the aircraft was being flown by Ain Kiiver who many years
later became a member of QAM. Lake Kopiago (altitude 4300 feet) was
reached from Mount Hagen by flying along a deep gorge with high peaks
on either side. Like other pilots in PNG at the time, Aiin was permitted
to carry a revolver in case he was forced down in unfriendly territory.
